Merseyside en Pelisplus. 'Near Buxton, in beautiful surroundings, rises a little stream, the Goyt. On its way to the sea the Goyt is joined by other rivers to become the great Mersey, one of the main arteries of Great Britain's industry. At Stockport, the river loses its rural beauty and becomes a commercial waterway, spanned at Runcorn by the largest Transporter bridge in the world.
