Years later, Marc returns – not only out of obligation, but because this might be the last time he can piece together his fractured past. His father, now lost in the confusing, shifting world of Alzheimer’s, no longer recognises him. He mistakes him for his other son, who is preserved in memory, untouched by disappointment or time. Marc chooses not to correct his father but steps into a ghostly realm and submits to a quiet, aching process: to be seen.
